1/18/2024 – Update Dear Gravois Park Families, We hope this message finds you well. At Momentum, the comfort and safety of our students and staff are our top priorities. We want to update you on the current temperature conditions in the Gravois Park school building and the measures we are taking to ensure a conducive learning environment. In actively used spaces, temperatures are currently between 70 and 78 degrees. Yesterday, temperatures averaged 70 degrees and in response our facilities team provided additional heating, and our administrative team worked together to identify alternate learning spaces within the building. However, we have noted that the north side of the building, stairwells, and large hallways are averaging in the mid to upper 50s. As a precaution, access to that side of the building is restricted. The average temperature of the building is currently 72 degrees. In recognition that there are drafty areas, we encourage both team members and scholars to dress warmly, and they are welcome to wear outerwear throughout the day. Our team is diligently monitoring and assessing temperatures in the building multiple times during the day. Please be assured that if temperatures fall below acceptable and safe levels across the building, we will communicate promptly. In such cases, we will use text messages, emails, and phone messaging to notify you of any school cancellations or virtual learning days. Thank you for your understanding as we work to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for everyone. Please contact us with any questions or concerns. Warm regards, Antionette BedessieCHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
