ST. LOUIS, MO – Momentum Academy is proud to celebrate the recent recognition of our schools in the Saint Louis University PRiME Center’s 3-Year Growth Reports. These statewide reports measure how much scholars grow academically over time—not just where they score on a single test. This approach highlights the true impact schools are making year after year. The PRiME Center’s analysis of three years of Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) data (2022–2024) found that Momentum Academy: Tower Grove East ranked 15th in the entire state for mathematics growth among EleMiddle schools (grades K–8). Tower Grove East was also recognized among the top schools statewide for continued progress in both mathematics and English Language Arts. Additionally, Momentum Academy: Tower Grove South earned recognition for outstanding growth in English Language Arts, placing among the top schools in Missouri for their consistent improvement from 2022 through 2024. Executive Director Liz Valerio shared:“This recognition from the SLU PRiME Center is a celebration of our entire community of scholars, families, and educators who work together every day to make meaningful learning possible. At Momentum Academy, we believe in the brilliance of our scholars and the power of being data-driven. This growth is a reflection of what’s possible when we stay rooted in love, high expectations, and a shared commitment to our kids’ success.” These results affirm what our families, educators, and scholars already know—Momentum Academy is a community where scholars thrive. Our model as an EleMiddle school (serving kindergarten through 8th grade) allows us to build long-lasting relationships, provide continuity of learning, and support scholars as they grow academically and socially. We are grateful to the SLU PRiME Center for spotlighting schools like ours that are making measurable differences for scholars and families across Missouri. At Momentum Academy, we remain committed to advancing scholar growth, fostering confidence, and building a strong community of lifelong learners.
