Critical Thinking & Academic Excellence

At Momentum Academy, we utilize both virtual learning and blended learning. Virtual learning has been used to continue learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, to support students during long-term absences, and may be used as an alternative to snow days.
This is different from blended learning, which combines face-to-face and online instruction. Blended learning is our preferred learning structure, while virtual learning is a non-traditional alternative.

From the Teacher Perspective

Blended learning has allowed our Teachers to do Show Calls, where student’s show their work to other scholars. This collaborative approach lets the scholars work together toward mastery, making learning a fun group activity.

From the Scholar Perspective

Scholars can take ownership of their work, and feel proud of their accomplishments in the classroom. And when they struggle or don’t quite understand, they can get support not only from their teachers, but from their peers.

Keep shining, Momentum Academy Scholars!
